Elizabeth Leidecker (Texas Tech University)
Elizabeth is currently working on her BA in History with a minor in Classics at Texas Tech University. She is working with the project as part of the Pi Squared Program through the Center for Transformative Undergraduate Experiences. Her primary role has been to add to the database and research porphyry objects in American museums.
Leena Ghannam (American University in Cairo)
Leena is currently an MA student in Islamic Art and Architecture at the American University in Cairo. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Art History and English. Leena initially worked with the project from 2018 through 2020 as part of Michigan’s Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program and the Research Scholars Program and continues on as a core collaborator, working primarily on porphyry as souveniers in the age of the Grand Tour.
Katia Kukucha (University of Chicago)
Katia worked with the project in 2018, compiling an initial version of our database and doing research on objects currently held in the collections of the Louvre Museum. She is currently working on a BA in history at the University of Chicago.
